Our goal at First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem is to provide a warm, welcoming and inclusive opportunity to connect with God. We understand that each person has a very personal relationship with God and connects with God in different ways.
Wherever you are in your faith journey, we want to serve as a Christian community that helps you fully embrace your spiritual being, develop a sustaining faith, and find purpose, meaning, and joy in your life.

WHAT TO EXPECT
We love seeing new faces and strive to make newcomers feel welcomed and at home. Here is some general information to help you plan a visit to First Pres:
Parking begins to the right of the driveway and winds all the way behind the church. Parking for guests with disabilities is located directly along the front of the Sanctuary (west side of the building) with a ramp entrance to the building and electric doors. Additional parking is available along the first row of the rear parking lot, behind the building. An access ramp is also located in the rear to the left of the Sanctuary in the South Building. From the rear parking lot, you will also be able to access the North Building Entrance and the Kirk Center.
We also have fourteen spaces reserved for parents with small children. Look for the orange strollers painted on the blacktop behind the church near the North Building.
FINDING YOUR WAY AROUND
When you enter the building, you will be met by greeters who are here to welcome you, answer any questions you may have, and help you find your way around the campus. Generally speaking, as you approach our building, the Kirk Center is on the left, the Sanctuary is in the center, and our offices and meeting rooms are in the right side of the building.
OUR WORSHIP SERVICES
At FPC Bethlehem, our weekend services are an opportunity for you to connect with God as well as other believers in a warm, inclusive, loving atmosphere. You’ll experience rich worship, deep prayer, and biblical teaching that is thought-provoking and applicable to your life.
Our worship services typically last about an hour. We recommend arriving early so you won’t feel rushed, and you will have time to familiarize yourself with where everything is, find a seat in the in the Kirk Center for a 9 a.m. Contemporary service, or in the Sanctuary for a 10:30 a.m. Traditional service. Families are invited to worship together in either venue, and younger children will enjoy our Sunday School during the 10:30 a.m. service.
WHAT TO WEAR?
Wear what you like! Diversity is very important to us, so we want you to feel comfortable and at home wearing anything from sandals to suits.
HOW TO CONNECT
If you’re new to First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, or have been visiting for a little while, stop by the Narthex (the room directly in front of the Sanctuary entrance), or the Rotunda (the entry room to the Kirk Center) where you will meet a Welcome Team member who will be waiting to greet you and answer any questions. You can also meet some of our leaders and find out about how you can get connected at FPC Bethlehem.
After the Contemporary service and the Traditional service, we gather in Fellowship Hall for coffee, baked goods, and conversation. Join us and let us introduce ourselves. We would love to meet you!
