SERVE AT FPCB
Our life in Christ awakens as we serve those around us. Serving is how we live out our faith: Know, Love, Serve. There are so many ways for you to get plugged into serving at FPCB. We hope you will join us!
Train a child in the way he should go. When he is old, he will not turn away from it. (Proverbs 22:6) Is God nudging you to help bring children closer to His word? Our Children's Ministry team is looking for individuals passionate about sharing God's love for the world with our children. Whether you have an hour a week or an hour a month, there is a way to get involved! No need to be a Biblical scholar, you just need to bring your love of God, love of kids, and some enthusiasm! All curriculum planning and supplies will be provided. If you are an adult or a high school student that would love to serve Christ through connecting children to Him, please prayerfully consider the serve opportunities below. For more information, contact Denise Pierson-Balik or at 610-317-6162 ext. 253. All volunteers must be FPCB members or regular attendees for at least 6 months.
Kids in 3rd–8th grade are eligible to assist in the 10 a.m. Traditional worship service as Acolytes. Children will receive a short training before serving. Please CLICK HERE to sign up.
Greeters for the Children’s Center
Serve as an Usher at FPC Bethlehem’s newly-renovated Children’s Center during our weekend worship services. You will have the opportunity to greet families and assist parents, guardians and guests through our new Checkpoint Check-In System beginning November 7, 2015. Volunteer shifts are approximately one and a half hours once per month. No experience necessary. Training is provided, and all volunteers must complete the FPC Bethlehem Safe Church clearance process. To sign up for this usher team, CLICK HERE. For more information email Stacey Judge or Jeff Murphy.
"We are Christ's ambassadors" (2 Corinthians 5:20). Do you love to greet people with a warm smile and welcome them into our church? The Greeter team is seeking individuals with a warm heart to greet people throughout the FPCB campus before all services in the Kirk Center and the Sanctuary. Those church members who welcome the people God has brought to our church have the chance to positively influence these important visitors in those first crucial minutes. You never have a second chance at a first impression—It is the greeters who often hold the key to whether guests return. Be an Ambassador For Christ. Help open doors and welcome people to FPCB!
You will only be asked to serve once every few weeks for about 20 minutes each time or maybe you just want to be added to our substitute list. If you are interested please email Toni Fioretti.
