SIENNA MCNETT - SUMMER INTERN FOR COMMUNICATIONS

MEET OUR THE COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT SUMMER INTERN:
SIENNA MCNETT

We would like to take a moment to introduce to you FPCB Member and 2016 Communications Summer Intern, Sienna McNett. Sienna has been busy doing whatever crazy task we ask, including research, writing articles, taking photos and coming up with a marketing campaign for one of our social media platforms --more on that later! Although next week is Sienna's last official week working with us in the Communications Department, we know that she will continue to serve FPC for years to come.

TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF? WHERE DO YOU GO TO SCHOOL? WHAT'S YOUR MAJOR?
Right now I am attending the Pennsylvania State University at main campus and I am majoring in Biology with a focus in Neuroscience. I have a great passion for human health in addition to entrepreneurship, and hope to attend medical school upon graduation.

HOW DID YOU FIRST GET INVOLVED WITH FIRST PRES BETHLEHEM?
I have been attending First Pres for about 10 years now. After moving here from Florida when I was in elementary school, my family tried out several local churches and when we visited here for the first time we knew it was the perfect fit!

BESIDES INTERNING IN THE COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT, WHAT OTHER THINGS DO YOU DO HERE AT FPCB?
There are so many amazing opportunities to get involved here at FPCB! In the past, I have participated in SNL and youth mission trips, in addition to teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. My family and I also volunteer with the First Fruits Harvest program.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO SERVE?
As a Christian I believe that it is my duty to give back to my community. I find great joy in knowing that I have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others while spreading the love of Jesus Christ.

IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD ON A MISSION TRIP, WHERE WOULD YOU GO?
One place that I would really love to travel to on a mission trip would be to Senegal. I would like to practice my french and help out in areas such as agriculture and health in addition to spreading God’s word.

TOTALLY OFF TOPIC: WHAT'S CURRENTLY ON YOUR PLAYLIST?
I love all kinds of music, so my playlist is very eclectic. Right now I am really enjoying listening to The Piano Guys, who cover popular rock and pop songs with cello and piano.

If you see Sienna around campus next week--usually with a camera in hand--stop and say hello. She might just interview you.
