Intergenerational Events and Mentoring This is a mentoring program for students who may be in need of an adult relationship for a variety of reasons. The program is currently held during school hours at Nitschman Middle School and after school hours at Freemansburg Elementary School. The students are chosen and assigned to an adult mentor by the principal and meet once a week to spend time together sharing, listening and developing relationships that are highly valued by the student. There are some students who need special instruction and work with mentors who are trained in that area. This program is very successful and has improved students' performance in school. Why not become a mentor and gain fulfillment and satisfaction by seeing the growth that takes place students during the year.
Educational Opportunities Seminars are held to provide information pertaining to later-life issues such as retirement, finances, health, spiritual growth and family issues.
