WHAT WILL YOU FIND IN CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES?

Look the Part at the Family Christmas Service
At this year’s family Christmas Eve service (4 p.m.), children are invited to look like an angel, a shepherd or a wise person. Each costume will have a part to play in the service—no rehearsal needed! Just wear a halo, a cloth and band around your head, or a crown to be a part of the Christmas story.

Kirk Camp
Every June families gather for a week in Keene, NH to explore their faith and draw closer to God, creation and one another. Meet other families in worship, at meals, on the beach, playing games, and having lots of recreational fun.

The Giving Tree
During Advent, a tree is put up in Fellowship Hall and decorated with the names (and a gift wish) of  people reccommended to us from one of our local agancies—people who are not likely to receive any gifts for Christmas. Church members choose an ornament, pray for  the recipient and purchase and wrap a gift for them. The wrapped gifts are brought to the tree in Fellowship Hall on a designated Sunday to be picked up by the agencies and distributed to the recipients.

Gifts for Baby Jesus
Children bring baby care items and toys for poor babies such as Jesus, and present them at the 4 p.m. Christmas Eve service. These items are shared with babies in the Lehigh Valley through various agencies.

One Great Hour of Sharing
A Lenten offering where children learn about the lives of children in other countries. The church-wide offering helps people become economically sufficient, responds when people experience environmental or political disaster and feeds those without food.

Food for Thought!
“It is better to build the lives of boys and girls in Jesus Christ than it is to repair the lives of men and women from a lifestyle of sin”
