JOY Movie and Pizza Night

FRIDAY, January 27, 2017,  at 6 p.m., $5.00/person, in Fellowship Hall.

As is our custom, we will enjoy a delicious meal of pizza (plain and pepperoni), popcorn, Dove bars, cold beverages and an entertaining movie: “GOD’S NOT DEAD 2”

A high school teacher is asked the difference between Gandhi, Marn Luther King, Jr. and Jesus. Upon answering, she finds herself in a court of law with the attention of the entire country. As in “God’s Not Dead,” there are several sub-stories relating how a number of characters struggle with their faith.

This is a thought, provoking film that is sure to inspire us to think deeply about our faith and examine our own questions about maintaining spiritual integrity in today’s challenging culture. Our new Senior Pastor, Marnie Krumpler will lead a time of reflection and discussion following the movie.

Be sure to put this date on your calendar for 2017. For seniors over 50, singles and couples. The cost for the evening will be rolled back to our original Movie Night cost of only $5.00. Please bring along your adult friends and neighbors. Register and pay at the JOY booth in Fellowship Hall from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Sundays, or mail your check to FPCB,  along with the completed Registration Form on page three. Please put “Attention: JOY” on the envelope. The registration deadline: Sunday, January 22.
