Free assistance in preparing Federal, State and Local income tax returns will be available to low- and middle-income individuals every Thursday, from February 4 through April 14, 9:00 a.m. to Noon. This program, co-sponsored by the AARP Foundation and the IRS, provides trained volunteers who will prepare Federal and State Income Tax returns for E-filing as well as the applications for Pennsylvania Property Tax or Rent Rebates for those who qualify. It is NOT restricted to members of First Presbyterian Church.
Anyone interested in utilizing these services should bring photo IDs, last year’s tax return (2014) and all pertinent income and expense information for tax year 2015 to Room 400 on the second floor of the South Building. Taxpayers should stop by during the hours shown to set up an appointment. The FPC Bethlehem staff is not able to schedule any appointments.
